Are you interested in making a difference in your community? Do you want to bring an end to gender discrimination and gender-based violence? We want to hear your voice.
Get your local representatives involved
You can make a difference by speaking your MP, local MSPs or councillors. Your representatives work for you. If you want to see something change in your community your representatives might be able to help.
Encourage them to speak up about gender-based violence and support their local rape crisis service.
You can find out more about who your representatives are, what MSPs do and how to contact them on the Scottish Parliament website and the Moray Council website
Rape Crisis Scotland are campaigning to extend emergency funding to reduce waiting list times. When a survivor reaches out for that support, they need to receive it then. Not weeks or months later. Write to your MSP to tell them that Survivors Can’t Wait.
More information on the campaign and a draft letter to send to your MSPs on the campaign page here.
